Superintendent for our Scrubber Service department
ME Production is looking for a Superintendent for our Scrubber Service department. If you have a technical degree or technical insight and have a desire to travel, also on short notice, then this is the right job for you.
ME Production operates within several business areas: Marine gears, and exhaust gas cleaning. Furthermore, we have new systems in our pipeline, and we are again starting to experience massive growth in the exhaust gas cleaning segment. Therefore, we need strong skills to handle all the exciting new service tasks.
What to expect:
You can expect to become part of a competent and committed service team, where the days go by fast, and no two days are the same. The job will typically take place on a yard where installation, commissioning and service of the scrubber are only part of many tasks for the shipping line. Now, the primary tasks are within service. Therefore, it is important that you can stay calm in stressful situations and are able contrate on your work in situations when a lot of things are going on around you. You will be working closely with the customers representatives for some of the largest global shipping lines in the market and it will be your job to secure that their installation experience is unique.
Your skills:
Preferably you are experienced in the following:
- Installation, commissioning, or servicing processing plants
- Able to read, understand and work based on technical manuals and on this basis installation of various components in the system.
- Test of system before shipment can happen.
- Manage installation meeting with the shipyard and shipping line.
- Large proces pumps
- Ananlysis equipment for monitoring of SO2/CO2 as well as water discharge.
- PLC/SCADA control systems + related software.
- You can communicate in English fluently.
