The Position:
We are looking for a skilled warehouse employee who can identify, maintain, and organize our current safety equipment, along with tools that are needed on the job site. You will assist coworkers with maintaining their everyday tools and equipment.
Your primary task will be handling safety equipment, tools, and common supplies needed on site. You will also be responsible for maintaining strict records regarding certificates and other important documents related to our safety items and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Distributing gear, safety equipment, and other supplies
- Maintaining our current system of tracking gear and equipment
- Stocking, lifting, and moving heavy items
- Proper storage of goods and organizing the warehouse space
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the right tool is being used for the job
- Handling technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Experience with warehouse work is an advantage, but not required
- Self-taught or experienced as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is welcome
- Ability to identify and prevent the use of dangerous or unsafe components
- Basic IT skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Interest in the recycling industry and willingness to learn
- Outgoing and able to communicate in English.
