As our new colleague, you will be working with our emission control systems (SOX scrubbers), which are currently experiencing significant growth in sales and service. We expect you to take on new tasks with great enthusiasm, and even if you are not familiar with the specific systems used by MEP, you feel comfortable enough with technology to learn about new systems and platforms and become proficient with them.

In addition, we expect you to be a good communicator who can keep a cool head in high-pressure situations while providing the best possible customer experience.

Job tasks:

  • Participate in handover meetings from project to service to ensure a smooth transition for the customer.
  • Support customers in the warranty process based on contractual obligations.

  • Responsible for all spare parts order handling and execution for all customers, with ambitious goals defined by you and your immediate supervisor.
  • You will be working closely with the service coordinator to ensure on-time delivery of spare parts.
  • Customer contact via email, phone, and remote connection. You will also be part of an on-call rotation that is compensated separately from your regular salary.

Experience:

We prefer candidates with the following competences:

  • Experience in commissioning or servicing of process or marine systems.
  • Knowledge of PIDs, structure, and symbolism of pipes, pumps, transmitters etc.
  • Ability to read, understand, and work with technical manuals, including installation of various components in the system.
  • Comfortable with providing online support and troubleshooting.

  • Testing of equipment before shipment may take place at MEP testing centre.
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Language skills: Danish/English as a minimum.

MEP offers:

  • A dynamic workplace where no two days are the same.
  • As the position and the job tasks are newly created, you will to a wide extent be able to define your own job and workday.
  • Flexible working hours and an informal tone.
  • Salary negotiable based on qualifications.
