You will join our professionally competent panel of doctors, which consists of consultant physicians, attending physicians/intern physicians and resident physicians. The objective of our department is to decrease waiting times, focus on patient safety practices and ensure the quality of patient care with a focus on attaining core performance measures of the department and developing and educating all our personnel groups. Our department is characterized by a high standard of professionalism among all our working groups, and we cultivate an excellent inter retaliatory teamwork within and outside our department. Our department expect you to:
- Have an education in diagnostic radiology in which you participate in the broad radiological operation within the department and ensure progress and quality alongside our other radiologists.
- Have practical knowledge with standard Computerized tomography (CT) and diagnostic ultrasound, preferably interventional ultrasound imaging and ultrasound contrast imaging. We rely upon a certain amount of experience in conventional X-ray imaging.
- Thrive in a busy and transitional day.
- Participate in a department which consist of days of subspecialized areas and working days with unclear areas. The subspecialized areas may consist of the following areas: gastric, thorax, neuro-/pediatric, oncology/cardiology, ortho and urology.
- Function well in a patient-oriented department which provide our patients with an effective patient flow.
- Participate in supervised shifts.
- Maintaining a supervisory and sparring function for our junior physicians among others.

About our department:
Our department of radiology have an annual activity of close to 100.000 examinations. The department is completely digital with region-wide RIS/PACS system (Radiology Information System/Picture Archiving and Communication System). We dispose over two magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, three computerized tomography (CT) machines and three Ultrasound machines. Our department also carry out conventional X-ray imaging. Our branch of computerized tomography is rapidly developing, and we perform typical computerized tomography as well as CT coronary angiography and a wide range of Dual Energy CT scans (spectral CT). Our branch of ultrasound dispose of typical ultrasounds and interventional and pediatric ultrasonic examinations. Our branch of magnetic resonance imaging primarily consists of musculoskeletal and neuroradiological problem solving. We are especially equipped to perform MR arthrography of shoulders and hips.
We will retrieve children’s certificate before employment.
The assessment of the candidates professional qualifications will occur based on the candidates data of skills within the following model of the seven roles of physicians: namely “medical expert”, “collaborator”, “communicator”, “manager”, “health advocate”, “scholar” and “professional”.
